Our Story

Our Journey to Making a Difference

At The Alta Project, our name embodies our mission. “Alta” means to lift up, to elevate, or to rise above. Inspired by this vision, we are dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities to overcome challenges and create lasting change.

What began as a small initiative has grown into a global partnership-based international relief and development organization. We partner with local leaders in Maasai and Turkana villages, addressing seven critical challenges with tailored, community-driven solutions. From providing clean water to fostering sustainable livelihoods, our work transforms bad news situations into good news stories.

Our purpose is simple: to uplift, inspire, and help communities rise above adversity—one project, one life, and one village at a time.
